Wild Posies

Hello, Judy Woodland here, and welcome to another Dies R Us inspirational blog post. Today I have a card full of wild flowers from the Tim Holtz Wild Flowers Die Set.

Here is my card:

And here is how I made it:

I began by cutting all of the flower elements out of water color paper......

Next I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color in the flowers, and then I adhered them to the background panel.

Then I cut out 5 of the "Thankful"pieces from the Sue Wilson Mix and Match Friendship Die Set and stacked them one on top of the other for dimension.

Then it was time to put it together. I layered the white die cut panel on top of a blue piece of cardstock, attached it to the card base and added the greeting, a bow, and some pearls.

Here are the products I used:

Good Morning, Glory

Hello, Judy Woodland here, and welcome to another Dies R Us inspirational blog post. Today I have a unique technique for you using the Tutti Designs Poppies Stained Glass die, which reminds me of Morning Glories. I recently watched Jennifer McGuire do a stained glass technique which I thought was FABULOUS. You can watch it HERE.

Here is my card:

Here's how I made it:
Using Ken Oliver's Stick It, I began by cutting out 5 panels from the Tutti Designs Poppies Stained Glass die.

Next I adhered one panel to a piece of card stock..............

and colored the images in using my Copic Markers.
Then I adhered 3 more of the die cut panels to create dimension.........

and flooded every space with Glossy Accents. Whew!!! Talk about labor intensive!!
I let this dry overnight.

I took the last die cut panel and applied 2 coats of Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder.......

and adhered it to the dried piece to complete the stained glass look.

Finally I die cut the panel from the Sue Wilson Austrian Collection Background die........

and a little border from the Poppy Stamps Pierced Borders Die Set.

Finally it was time to put it all together.

With Love

Hello to you all.
Doreen here, I have a Shabby Chic card to share today
I must admit this is my favorite style of card.

I started as always picking what I was going to use  and
die cut my papers and card.

I then decided to die cut some butterflies out of the designer paper

I then placed everything in position before adhering all my pieces
to my card blank and adding  some flowers, cheesecloth and some twine.

Dies I have used
