happy birthday

Hi everyone, Anne here to share a glittery birthday card with you. It's a Z-fold card.

To start out, you need to die cut three pieces using the plain rectangle die from the Sue Wilson die set for each panel you want.  Then, you will die cut a piece using each of the other dies.

Next you will adhere these three layers together.

After I die cut everything, I decided I wanted the middle layer to have a lot of sparkle.  I used the glueless glitter technique to add glitter to each of these middle pieces.  This is an easy technique where you start out by heat embossing clear embossing powder onto what ever it is you want glitter on.  Then add more VersaMark to the top of the piece, cover with your glitter of choice, and heat set again.  The glitter melts into the first layer of embossing powder and stays put.  This photo shows what color it was and then what it looked like after die cutting and adding glitter.

Next up, I die cut the sentiment, and using the glueless glitter technique, added the same color glitter to each die cut.

Here's a final look at this glittery birthday card.

Hope you've enjoyed today's card.  Come back on Monday for more fabulous inspiration from our design team.
