Today, I am sharing a card set I made for Halloween. They were quick to put together, but have such a cool effect. I personally love creating backgrounds with the Memento Inks because you can create so many different scenes!
My first step was to cut out a circle to use it as a mask to create the moon!
I created my scene with the colors from light to dark - Sweet Plum, Grape Jelly, Elderberry, Paris Dusk, London Fog, Tuxedo Black -
My next step was to use my Cut 'n' Boss to cut out all my different dies. Once those were cut, I assembled it to the card and placed the witch over the moon. I used some scrap yellow cardstock to place behind the pumpkins and the haunted house - just to give it a little PIZAZZ!
I actually made a set of 6, 2 of each scene! The little ghosts were actually part of a Halloween Party Paper Cut out set.
Thanks so much for checking out my cards today! I hope you have a great day!
I hope that I was able to inspire you to use your dies, create a project, and come play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for your chance to win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store. A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of every month. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.
