Happy Holidays with Lawn Fawn

Hi Everyone, Kristina here today getting started on holiday cards. I feel in love with this background die when it came out. The quilt pattern also reminds me of a warm sweater! A staple for winter/holiday cards.

The Process

  • I started by die cutting my background from white cardstock and layering onto an a2 sized panel of teal card to create my card base.
  • For my scene, I die cut a scallop circle, and used a circle die to cut out a frame from its negative piece.
  • I die cut a 2nd scallop circle from a lighter teal card stock, and trimmed off the top with a stitched hill border die.
  • I stamped a tree image in the background, then adhered the previously cut hill onto my white scallop.
  • Onto that I added a stamped, colored, and die cut image and a little cardinal die cut. I added some nuvo shimmer pen to both.
  • Lastly I stamped my sentiment onto white card stock, which I matted with that same light teal card stock and adhered to the front of my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, see you next week.
