Shell-A-Brate In Style!

Donna Phelan back again. This card was 'wicked fun' to make.

A little water coloring, a lot of die cutting and lots of gluing.....FUN!!!

I saw this technique by Jen McGuire, it will make you look at your die sets in a whole new light, a bright, shiny, full of possibilities light lol  You can check out her video HERE!  It's her second card, which starts at just about the 7:44 mark.

Here I have die cut all of my shells that I think I will need from water color paper.  I have used the Die Versions Whispers Scallop Shell Cheery Lynn Sand Dollar Starfish--which is no longer available, and Frantic Stamper Dies Beach Comber Icons.

I then water colored each die cut.

I then glued each die cut, making two panels that I would use as my 'gate fold'.

The 'gate folds' were scored on each end and adhered
to the card base using the Best Glue Ever.

Using Twine and Plastic Pearl Beads I created my fun string of pearls closure.

It actually works!

Stamped the inside with a pretty shell border and my
Happy Birthday Shell-A-Brate sentiments.

So. Much. FUN!

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~
