Thinking of Spring


Vickie Y sharing a monochromatic blues card with you today.  Here in the USA midwest we have had lots of cold, snowy winter days.  These cold days make me think ahead to warmer, Spring weather!

To create my card I used these distress oxide inks and wateolor paper to create the background panel for my card:


I smooshed the inks onto my craft mat and then spritzed with water

Then I smooshed the watercolor paper panel onto the spritzed inks to create the background and used a heat tool to speed up the drying process

Next, I used a blending tool using the same colors of oxide inks to create a blended ink panel to use for the dies

Placed each die onto the blended ink panel and die cut them to arrange on the watercolor panel to create the card (shown above)
