I started creating the background by embossing some pretty stars in white and then blending distress inks to make the sky.
Are these penguins from Frantic Stamper Penguin Family cute or what? I cut them out of black and white card stock and glued them together onto a piece of scrap card stock. I find that it's easier to build the penguins first so that I can move them around on my card front to find the placement I like.
Next I cut the Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes out of white card stock. I added some Zig two way glue to the stitched edge and covered it using Elizabeth Crafts Silk Microfine Glitter in Warm Diamond. I also cut a Frantic Stamper Igloo and gave that a coating of Warm Diamond glitter as well.
Next I played around with the layout of the landscapes and igloo.
Once the card base was assembled I knew I wanted the penguins to be tumbling around in the snow.
