Celebrate Love...

Hey crafty friends...Vicki here from He"artful" Validation of Vicki.

It's June, a traditional wedding month and today I'm sharing a simple and elegant wedding card.
I've used the following die cuts...

All are available in the Dies R Us Store.

"Celebrate Love"

The ivory and pale rose cardstock colors are now two of my very favorite.  This color combination was perfect for a romantic wedding card.

I cut the card base in my usual square size.  There is just something about square cards that I seriously love.  Maybe it's the symmetry, who knows, but I keep coming back to it.  Next, I cut the layers that I wanted to add.  Layers and die cuts go well together, don't you agree?

Here's a close up of the heart corner die cut that will be the focal point of the card.

A minor crafting tip:  Keep a soft stencil brush handy to help remove tiny paper fibers that sometimes cling to the die cut.  A soft toothbrush works well also.

I die cut the sentiment words several times in both colors using the ivory as a matting for the pale rose.  Stacking layers helps give dimension to the words.

A few resin roses complete the simple, but elegant look I wanted to achieve.

Thanks for stopping by...
I hope I have inspired you to use die cuts on your projects.
