I used Lawn Fawn's Christmas Fishes stamp set, along with Lawn Fawn's Porthole Frames and Wavy Banner Frames sets. My background paper is from DCWV. I used silver mirror cardstock to cut the porthole frames, I also cut the same using white cardstock, and both for the wavy banners.
I stamped my images and sentiments using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and did some masking using Inkadinkado masking paper so I could have images appearing to be behind what I wanted positioned in front.
I colored my images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
Then the fun began. I attached Spectrum Noir double side adhesive to the back of each of my portholes. I trimmed around the outer edge so it would not show, and then sprinkled Diamond Dust Glitter on the front of each porthole and burnished it in. This effect made the front no longer sticky, however it is very shiny and semi transparent.
I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere all panels together, and added silver ribbon from my stash with a bow at the top of each porthole, to simulate Christmas Ornaments.
My vision for these cards is sitting on the inside of a boat, looking out through the portholes at Christmas time at the cute fishes and sea critters celebrating in their own way. I hope this inspiration did the same for you.
