Pretty in Purple

Good morning, Colleen from Scrappin Granny sharing with you a very fun and frilly card.  I love working with layers and the dies I used were great for this technique.

I started with my purple and lavender papers and used the African Circle by Amy Designs.  I actually cut everything with the lavender cardstock, remember you can always turn them over and use the backside if you want a different color.

For the next part, I used a piece of ribbon strung through a needle and threaded it through the holes in the circle.

After I had that done then I adhered it down using The Best Glue Ever.

Next I wanted some flowers and vines so I cut all of that out using white cardstock.  The vine was cut out using the Vine die by Tutti Designs and I used  Embellishment #1 by Cherry Lynn to cut out the flowers.

After adding the flowers just added the sentiment, and then I went over the sentiment with purple Liquid Pearls and added the liquid pearls to the center of each flower.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
