Another Tag Greeting Card

Hello crafting enthusiast!  This is part 2 of using tag dies not only for tags but also for making greeting cards.
For today's card I used this die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs:952 - Tags & More 2 - Deco

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Tag 2

Step 1:  Create a base card by scoring a 8.5 x 11" pc. of white cardstock at 5.5" along the long side.  Fold over for a book fold.  Now place the tag die with removable tape to the fold of this card but with the blade positioned so it doesn't cut through the fold. Run through your die cutting machine.

Remove this die and trim to 5.5" long.  With a paper trimmer continue the right side cut to the bottom,  Open up the card with the inside down place the decorator pc. on the front top as below:

Run this through your die cutting machine.
Step 2:  Using the two dies I just used I cut from yellow cardstock 3 of the outline die pc. and 4 of the little hexagon hole reinforcement pc.
Trim the 3 yellow tags to just where the side cuts end.  Tape the décor pc. to one of the yellow tags matching up the hole.
Step 3:  Using the smallest and 2nd smallest dies in the set below, cut both with red, white, yellow and black cardstock.  1537 - Stitched Hexagons

Using the die set below, die cut and assemble the pcs. to make both bees:

Using the die set below, die cut and assemble the pcs. to make both Lady bugs.

You should now have a pile of die cuts that look like this:
Step 4: The fun step.  Decorate!  Adhere the inside 2 yellow pcs. matching up the tag holes.
Step 5: Stamp what ever sentiment you would like on the inside.  I chose a stamp set by Elizabeth Craft Designs "Bee Sentiments".
Step 6: Assemble the little hexagon, bee. lady bug that please you and adhere them to the front of the card.  Add some leaves, or little flowers and a sentiment and you have a really cute card.
