thinking of you..

Happy Friday, friends! I’m glad you’ve stopped by today! I’m super excited to be sharing my first post as part of the Dies R Us Design Team.  I'm super excited to be a part of this amazing Design Team.

For my design this week I die cut a panel from a bristol smooth paper with the largest die from the Penny Black Antique Frame dies. I placed the Memory Box Calais Butterflies die across the panel and die cut them out partially.

I masked off the butterflies and ink blended Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose, Squeeze Lemonade, Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks onto the panel.

I removed the masks and blended the oxide inks onto the butterflies using the same colors to give them a soft ombre look.

To finish my design I added a few water droplets, splatters of ink to match the Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Oxide Inks. The sentiment was stamped with black ink and heat embossed with Clear (EP). I adhered the panel onto an A2 Side Fold Neenah Solar White card base.

To end my post, here's a recap of the supplies I used from the Dies R Us store for your convenience:
