HELLO CARD

Hi there.  This is Donna with another treat for you using some fantastic dies from Dies R Us!  This is my Hello card and the instructions are as follows:

Base Card:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, folded in half for A2 card
Blue Layer:  4 x 5-1/2

Using the Secret Garden Flower Set 1, I die cut 10 flowers and five centers.  I used the medium size and the small for this project.

Layer two flowers together offsetting them slightly and glue together at the head.  Next using a stylus, I created dimension by pulling toward the head of the flower thus raising the petals.  Flip over and run stylus around the heads of the flowers to flatten them a bit.

Apply Distress Oxide ink to the flower centers and glue to the flowers.  I die cut five stems and adhered to each flower and then gathered them in a bouquet and put a dot of glue where the stems meet and overlap.  Apply 3-D Foam Squares to the backs of the flower heads only.  Put aside.

Next, die cut the Big Splash Border and adhere to the right side of the blue layer.  Adhere blue layer to the far right of your card front.  Then adhere your bunch of flowers using 3-D Foam Squares for dimension  Glue stems in place.  I added a simple “hello” sentiment and topped the flower bouquet with a sweet bow.
