Ann here with a card that reminds me of when my family would go out in the woods to chop down the perfect Christmas tree.
I first made the background by swiping a piece of watercolor paper through some watered down distress inks on my non-stick craft mat. Then I stamped the trees.
I cut Bob's Old Truck out of some dark blue foil card stock and sanded down some of it's parts. I then cut out one of the Impression Obsession Birch Trees and cardinals that come in the same set.
The trees in the front left corner of the card are the Evergreen Trees by Impression Obsession. The deer is from the Frantic Stamper Buck and Doe set.

Ann, this is a beautiful wintry scene. Love all of the details on this beauty. Clever using foil for the truck. Love that background too. Wozwer
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet winter scene! I'll ditto Berni's comment on using blue foil card stock for the truck. So clever!!
ReplyDeleteI just love this scene you have created Ann! The background ... the foreground ... and not to mention that adorable truck ... all so reminiscent of Christmas past for me when we'd go to the 'back 40' and pick out our Christmas tree and bring it home. Great job and awesome inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome scene! That truck, those trees, the deer and the sweet little Red Cardinals...so perfect! This is a great Christmas card! Your stamping and 'swiping' are beautiful!
