June is the month of weddings, and I've had requests to make several wedding cards. The Couple die by Tattered Lace is my favorite wedding couple die on the market.
Here's what the card looks like on the inside:
I wanted to leave room on the inside to put the name of the couple, their wedding date, and maybe a few hearts.
For the outside I used the Tattered Lace Couple die which I placed on the ovals from the Sue Wilson Festive Collection - Lattice Snowflake. This die set comes with some great layering ovals that I use on a lot of my cards.
I also used the Frantic Stamper Saharan Screen Card Panel which I cut down to fit the front sides of the card.
The word "Congratulations" on the inside of the card is from the Sue Wilson Expressions Collection.
To make this gatefold card, I cut a piece of cardstock 11 x 5 1/4", placed it horizontally on a scoring board so the 11" side is across the top, and scored at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4".

Beautiful wedding card. The Saharan screen panel makes a fabulous backing on the gatefold sides, and I love the wedded couple die.
ReplyDeleteAnn this is beautiful! So clever of you to think to cut the screen panel to fit the gatefold panels. I just put that Sue Wilson oval on my wish list. Now I"m thinking it goes in my cart on my next shopping trip. ;0)
