Love And Joy

Happy Saturday everyone, Donna Phelan back on the Dies R Us Blog!  Happy to be here!

I have a little black and white creation to share with you today which corresponds with our current Dies R Us Challenge #47 Black And White.

I grabbed this fabulous Zinnia flower die by Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Cut several flowers out of White card stock and Vellum.  Assembled by layering the 2 different sizes of flowers and curling and pinching the petals to make them look a little more realistic.  Adding large White Adhesive Pearls as center accents.  Then using the Paper Smooches  Foliage 2 dies I began cutting out my leaves also in White card stock and Vellum.

I arranged my flowers in a cascading design and once attached to the card base I started filling in the empty spaces with the foliage cuts.  I also added a handful of pearls to help adhere the die cuts down.  Functional and pretty.  Using Versa Mark ink and White Embossing Powder I heated my sentiment on a hand cut flag banner.  A sheer black ribbon and a few more pearls for accents.
