My first card uses the fantastic Large Madison Window Set, by Poppystamps.
I die cut the window and window box out of white card stock, the flowers from pink and yellow and the vines from 2 different shades of green. Flowers and vines I cut several times to fill that glorious window box with pretty Spring posies. Behind the window I placed some Polka Dot Designer Paper to mimic wallpaper and added a piece of lace as my curtain, and Vellum for my pane of glass. This was all mounted on fun foam, giving the window scene some depth and dimension. Assembled my flowers and placed in the window box. Some have pearl centers some have little seed beads. Brick Embossing Folder tinted with a bit of Antique Linen ink for my house. The addition of the sweet little house sentiment.
For my second card I used the same exact die set.
I've always wondered what would be on the other side of window scene cards.
I created this in the exact same manner, only from inside the house looking out. Polka Dot Designer Paper for my wallpaper and white bead board with chair rail, which was made by scoring the white card stock every 1/4". Tree image stamped, Vellum and lace added to complete my scene. Again, mounting all on fun foam. This time I found the window box would make a perfect place to stamp my sentiment. Mini Candy Dots for accents.
I love that this die set has everything you need to create wonderful rooms with views.
ONE die set, Large Madison Window Set by Poppystamps. This set also includes a pretty shutter with detailed accents, which I did not use for either card.

ReplyDeleteThese are adorable and so cleverly done from the perspective of both the inside and the outside of the windo. The lace curtain is genius!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Like you, on the inside and outside view. Congratulations on this new adventure sweetie. :) <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I love that set, and it is so neat for you to share both the inside and outside views using the set. Your lace curtains on both are such a pretty touch, very pretty flower arranging too!
ReplyDeleteDonna, I like how you stamped right on the window box, great idea! Gorgeous cards.
ReplyDeleteLOVE both of these. You got the perspective just right. People sometimes forget that you are inside or outside and put something in there that doesn't belong. LOVE the curtains on both, and the wall paper and wainscoting on the inside one. Your flowers are so pretty too. Really nice! Congrats on your first post...looking forward to many more.
