Inlaid Dies Technique

Hello Everyone. It is Olivia and welcome to my first DT post for Dies R Us.  Today I decided to showcase a technique called Inlaid Dies.  As my preferred style is more CAS in nature, I thought this was a great way to create a card without too many layers but still pops of color.

For this project I started off with a colored image from Stamping Bella.  I took the image and cut it out with the Die-versions Stitched Circles.  I took the blue paper and  also cut an exact circle with that same die.  Just like in a puzzle you fit your cut out in the empty space. I cut the Die-Mensions Arrow Love This die on some matching yellow paper and cut the Love This out on the blue paper and placed the yellow die into the spot.  I did my usual coloring with Copics and then added some pearls for bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by and check back every day for more great inspiration from all the girls on the design team.
