Fall Leaves are Falling . . .

Welcome back Dies R Us Fans!
Darlene here today sharing a very Fall, Fun & Easy card creation for your inspiration!

The dies I have chosen from our Dies R Us Store are as follows:

Tattered Lace Dies - Lavis Winter FoliageNOTE:  If by chance any of the dies you are desiring are Out of Stock, simply click on the PUT ME ON THE WAITING LIST tab and you'll be notified by email when it arrives back in stock.

Today's card actually used a variety of scraps from the pile that is accumulating on my worktable!  Before die cutting the leaves, I took a piece of scrap white cardstock (same process for the panel behind my sentiment) and sponged around & across it with various Tim Holtz distress fall color inks.  Once die cut, I added a bit more color to the edges of a few of the leaves.

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Get Well Soon
For my sentiment panel, I die cut the Get Well Soon words from a scrap piece of green cardstock and instead of using the 'positive' side of the words, I decided to use the 'negative' portion and really like the outcome.

TIP:  Just another way you can use your dies ... TWO FOR ONE ... the positive & the negative sides are generally both very useful!

A QUICK REMINDER:  New challenge at our Dies R Us Challenge Blog goes live tomorrow, October 1st!
Theme: GIFT TAGS
(Suggestions:  Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings, Halloween Goodie Handouts)
I hope you'll come join in the fun!!

So Precious

Greetings Dies R Us friends!

This week's inspirational card is for a friend who has been struggling to have a child for almost 10 years, and was finally blessed with a healthy precious bundle of joy this week! Here is my card.
Saturated Canary Butterfly Baby

I've used the super cute Saturated Canary 'Butterfly Baby' and used the no lines technique to colour her in with Copics. I've cut her out with the Spellbinders Standard Circle and framed her with the Elizabeth Craft Designs Square with Circle Frame. Here is a close up of her.

Because of the delicate and intricate frame I wanted some small embellishments so used two of the Impression Obsession Spiral Flowers and the Magnolia Doohickey Swirly Butterfly to complement the image, along with some seambinding ribbon with a pearl brad and charm.
Here are some close ups of the dies.

If you haven't already popped over to the shop swing by to get all of these dies (& oh so much more!). And if you are like me you will love the free shipping on all orders over $50 for international shipments and just $35 for all domestic ones too.

Until next week, happy crafting!

Thanksgiving Wishes

Happy Thursday everyone, Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us! It amazes me how many different dies there are for all the holidays and it seem Dies R Us has them ALL! So check out our store and take a peek at our other design team members projects for the week; lots of inspiration on their blogs!

My card for today features the beautiful Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves Die set. Just look at the detail in all those leaves! My sentiment is stamped onto Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 2; this die set contains seven dies and is one of my "go to" banner sets!  I layered the leaves onto my sentiment banner and adhered to a piece of craft card stock. The card was finished with a few wraps of paper twine and a couple of dark orange embellishments!

Don't forget to add your name to the Dies R Us newsletter! You will kept up to date on all the latest releases AND special sales! Also, if the die you need is not in stock, add your name to the "want list", you will receive an email as soon as we have back in the store; it's that easy!

We have a "Fall Festival" challenge going on right NOW; you still have time to participate and possibly win a gift certificate to Dies R Us. Check out our Challenge Blog for all the details!

Until next week, thanks for stopping by, Robin

Indecision!

Welcome back!

It's Wednesday again and time for me to see if I can give you a bit of inspiration and get those creative juices flowing!  The title of today's post is "Indecision" and it wasn't hard for me to settle on that as you will see.  I imagine all of us die lovers are a lot alike, aren't we?  The minute you get a new die you just HAVE to cut it out & see what gorgeous creation you can come up with!  I can't wait for the mailman to bring them to me & run directly upstairs to my craft room to tear the package open & start running it through my die machine. Sound familiar?

Well, one of the dies I got with my last order was Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles Two.  I have had Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles for ages & it is one of my favorites.  I think I love this one even more! I had already colored two flower images so I grabbed them from my stack & cut both of them with this gorgeous die, thinking once the cards were completed, I would use one for my post.  Oops!  I hadn't counted on liking BOTH of them & not being able to decide which one to use, so I am posting both & letting YOU decide!

These are just a small sample of all the unbelievable dies you can find at Dies R Us!  They are adding new products on a daily basis so be sure you visit often! And remember, they not only carry dies, but also stamps and embossing folders so they are truly a one stop shopping experience!

Besides the Inspiration Blog, we also have a Dies R Us Challenge Blog where new challenges are posted the first & fifteenth of each month.  If you haven't entered, be sure to head that way or you will miss a lot of fun and some terrific prizes!

See you again next week!  Have a fantastic week & happy creating!

Poinsettia and Bells ... Christmas is already in the air!

Welcome back Dies R Us Fans!
Darlene here and I'm hard at work trying to be sure I have enough holiday cards for my upcoming craft shows as well as what I will need personally for friends and family.  Just a warning ... as I'm sure you will be seeing me create LOTS of Christmas cards in the weeks to come!  LOL!

For my card today I was having fun with layers ...

Oh my goodness ... I have so much beautiful holiday designer paper that I really didn't know where to start ... so, I started by die cutting the main focus for my card and that is the Cottage Cutz 'Elegant Poinsettia Spray' #CCE-036 which was one of those SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS that was announce in our Newsletter ... (hurry and get signed up for the newsletter so you don't miss out on these deals ... they are typically a Limited Time Offer)!
 I also used:
and

A couple of my favorite design paper companies are Graphic45 and KaiserCraft.  Today's card uses papers from both companies.  For my die cuts I simply cut each from white cardstock then the fun began!  The poinsettia spray was colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (DR7 & DG3) ... green Stickles was added at the end for sparkle as well as gold Stickles in the flower center.

After coloring the greenery & ribbon on the Mistletoe & Bells die cut, I recut the bells section of the die with gold matte paper and glued them over top of the white bells.

There is just no end to the holiday fun with all the fabulous dies available for a very reasonable price in our Dies R Us Store.  If you haven't popped over yet ... NOW'S THE TIME!!!

There are new companies being added all the time!
Prices are great, shipping is VERY reasonable and we even have a new Loyalty Rewards program!
Here's the LINK ... check it out!

I'll be back again next Tuesday ... be sure to come back tomorrow to see what Sherri has to share!
OH!  And remember we have a new challenge over on our Dies R Us Challenge Blog every 1st and 15th of the month with a gift voucher prize to one lucky player!  Hope to see you there!

Till next time . . .

Growing Old...

Greetings Dies R Us friends!

Today is my big brother's birthday, so this week's inspirational card is for him. Although my brother is still in his 30's he is such a 'big kid' so this sentiment works well with him, although 'Gus' is the spitting image of my Dad, which my brother may not appreciate...

Dies used include:

This grumpy old guy is Gus (which is my Hubby's name too!) and he is from Bugaboo Stamps. I just love him! I coloured him up with Copics and framed him with the Spellbinders Label 38 before layering him over the Avery Elle Chevron Border. I put some music washi tape sitting behind the Avery Elle Chevron Border, which I'd cut from glitter cardstock.

I have a huge collection of washi tape so I used some colourful spotty washi tape in lines as my 'designer paper' and also for the Taylored Expression Party Banner Border, which was layered over black before I trimmed it down for the front of the card. The first part of the sentiment was cut with one of the Docrafts Xcut Tags & Bookplates.

The inside of the card was decorated with the remainder of the sentiment, also cut with the same Docrafts Xcut Tags & Bookplates, and I used the remainder of the off-cut Taylored Expression Party Banner Border too.

Over at the Challenge Blog our 10th challenge is underway. It will be finishing up on September 28. The theme is 'Fall Festival'. There is a great variety of awesome DT creations from the talented Team B. To be in the running for the $10 voucher at the Dies R Us store just use a die in your challenge entry. So get your craft on & make something over the weekend!

Until next Friday, happy crafting!

Golden Wheat

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us, YOUR one stop shop for dies, dies and more dies! Although fall is almost here, at least on the calendar, it's more like the middle of summer in Southern California. This week we are in the 100's, the AC has been non-stop and brush fires are a constant worry. Hopefully by the end of the week it will drop into the low 90's; keeping my fingers crossed.

My card uses Impression Obsession Wheat die and Cheery Lynn Scalloped Window Stacker die.  I chose a tone on tone paper for the wheat die cuts and a contrast paper for the scalloped oval.  My card is layered with foam pop ups, the sentiment is stamped on a homemade banner and all edges have been sponged with Distress Ink. The card is finished with a simple bow and nail heads.

The holidays are almost here, don't forget to check out all the new dies!  Dies R Us has the latest releases from your favorite companies and at amazing prices! Plus, shipping is FREE when you spend $35 or more!

And speaking of holidays, the Dies R Us Challenge for Team B is "Fall Festival". Stop by and be inspired by our design team; then make your project and submit. You could win a gift certificate to Dies R Us!

Until next week, thanks for stopping by, Robin

Double the Pleasure!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you are having a terrific week!  If you have already checked out the early posts on this blog, your head is probably swimming with new ideas for ways to use your favorite dies.  I want to give you a couple of others!  If you are like me,although I want them ALL, I don't have unlimited funds to spend on dies. What this means is that I try to buy dies I know I will be able to use in multiple ways.  The dies I used in these two cards are perfect examples of that!  I was able to make a very masculine birthday card and a very feminine birthday card using basically the same dies.  For both cards I used Die-Mensions Birthday Cake, Spellbinder Elegant Ovals, & Poppy Stamps Happy Birthday Background.  For the feminine card, I also used Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaves along with a small flower.

This is the card I made for a guy. Actually, this is being sent to my nephew! I chose dark brown for the background color so the card felt more masculine.

By just changing to brighter colors and adding a flower & leaves, the whole card is transported to a feminine birthday card!  Just think of the different ways you can use these dies for ALL your birthday needs!

Check out the other fabulous dies at the Dies R Us store!  I can't begin to describe all the gorgeous dies, embossing folders & stamps they are carrying!  And as always, domestic orders of $35 or more ship free. Under that, it will only cost you $3.95 which is still the cheapest shipping around!

Don't forget the Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  We'd love to see you join in for a chance to win a gift certificate!

Have a wonderful week!  Create something fantastic!!

A Pink & Purple Bouquet for your Birthday!

Welcome back Dies R Us Fans!
Darlene here today to share a little birthday inspiration with you!

Did you know that at our Dies R Us store we not only have a HUGE VARIETY of Dies available but we also now have embossing folders and stamps!  If you haven't taken a peek lately, you really MUST stop over to our STORE!

NOTE:  If by chance any of the dies you are desiring are Out of Stock, simply click on the PUT ME ON THE WAITING LIST tab and you'll be notified by email when it arrives back in stock.

I'm sure many of you have already tried the following coloring trick but for those who have not ... give it a try ... so easy and the outcome is fabulous!

Coloring Tip Photo Tutorial:

While your white card stock is still in the die, color in your flowers using your favorite brand of ink & sponge.  Once removed from the die, you can also color in the stems using your favorite brand of markers.  I've used Tim Holtz distress inks and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I did a little fussy cutting on the second floral stem to use three of the flowers across the top of my card.  Adding the remainder of the floral stem to my 'bouquet'.  A few pearls and a cute little pink satin ribbon was all that was necessary to complete today's creation.
OH!  And I did take the liberty of a few 'swishes' from the pink sponge I used on the flowers to give a hint of color to the Happy Birthday embossed wording.

A quick reminder that we share a NEW CREATION here on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog each day Monday thru Friday!  AND, the new FALL FESTIVE challenge just began at the Dies R Us Challenge BlogPlease come join us!

Wishing you a crafty week ...

Party Boy!

Greetings Dies R Us friends!

This week's inspirational card is for a special little boy's first birthday. Life seems to be getting in the way of crafting time as I seem to constantly be left short for cards. Thankfully I'd had this image coloured previously so it was only a matter of selecting some paper, some coordinating party dies and putting it all together.

Dies used include:

I used the Spellbinders Label 36 to frame this ultra adroable little 'Party Animal' from A Random Fan. As it's a first party, I wanted to add some 'party' or 'celebration' quickly so used the Memory Box Curled Ribbons along with the Taylored Expressions Party Banner Border teamed together with some foil and glitter cardstock, to create my party atmosphere.

I also decorated the inside of the card with the Die-Mensions Birthday Balloon, layered on Spellbinders Label 36. I had originally intended it to go on the outside, however I didn't like there, so instead of wasting the cut (or forgetting it for the next card) I added it onto the inside.

Our current 'School Days' over at the Challenge Blog closes tomorrow, however our 10th challenge will be starting on September 15. The theme will be 'Fall Festival'. There will be plenty of awesome DT creations from the talented Team B. To be in the running for the $10 voucher at the Dies R Us store just use a die in your challenge entry. So get your craft on & make something over the weekend!

Until next Friday, happy crafting!

Elegant Wedding Card

Hi everyone Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us, your one stop shop for die cutting! With another wedding around the corner I decided to have a card ready to go instead of my usual scramble at the last minuet! However, I am getting much better and now have quite a few ready to go cards for any occasion.
This card started with a subtle background paper layered onto my card base. Both the card base and the background paper corners were punched with my Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper. Next I cut all the elements for the card. The dies I used are the beautiful Sue Wilson Designs Lattice Heart die, Spellbinders Corner Flourish, Cheery Lynn Anastasia Border Cheery Lynn Sweet Williams, Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags, Penny Black Leaves  and Cheery Lynn Olive Branches.

After the lattice, corner flourish, lace border and tag were added I made the flower bouquet and added it to my card with glue dots. I finished the card with a pearl flourish and individual pearls.

Please be sure to add your name to the Dies R Us newsletter, not only will you informed about new products, but their sales are not to be missed! And don't miss out on our challenges; just go to the Dies R Us Challenge blog and read all the details!

Until next week, thanks for stopping by, Robin

Let's Celebrate Fall!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I hope the midway point in your week finds you happy & healthy!  The kids are back in school and it's time to enjoy a little craft relaxation time!  Today, I want to celebrate fall with some beautiful fall colors and dies.

This card is a simple one and uses two of my favorite dies,Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leave s and Spellbinders Adorning Squares.  The darling image is from Plum Purdy.  I have had it for years & never tire of it.  If you are also a stamper, I'm sure you have some stamps in your "stash" that you would never get rid of because they are your favorite go-to stamps & you know exactly what I mean.  If you are NOT a stamper, the beautiful thing about using dies is you can just as easily substitute a beautiful sentiment for the image!

I hope you are stopping by each day to check out all the inspiration from our talented design team! And be sure you also drop in on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  I'm sure you will get lots of ideas.

Don't forget to stop by the Dies R Us store to stock up on some of the wonderful dies, stamps & embossing folders we carry!  We are truly "one-stop" shopping!  And our prices & shipping are the lowest around!

Until next week, have a wonderful week & happy crafting!

Sherri

Granting you Fall Wishes!

Hello Dies R Us Fans!
It's Tuesday and that means you have me, Darlene, here to inspiration you today!  It's hard to believe how quickly the summer months have flown by!  The tree leaves are already changing color here in Ohio and the store shelves are filled with Fall, Halloween & Thanksgiving goodies!
I had a request for some Christmas Fairy greeting cards from a friend so quickly jumped over to the Dies R Us store to see what was available!  Was thrilled to find not only the die cut I have used on today's card but several others by various companies.  That is the wonderful part about Dies R Us ... we carry dies from SO MANY different companies ... you are sure to find what you are looking for!  Don't you just love that ONE STOP SHOPPING feature!

 Spellbinder Classic Circles

I've created the background for this card by simply sponging the top part of my white card stock panel with Tim Holtz distress blue ink (Tumbled Glass & Faded Jeans) and the bottom portion using Memento 'Bamboo Leaves'.  My birds were colored using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and the sentiment is from JustRite. A band of blue grosgrain ribbon was all that was needed for a finishing touch!

I do hope you will tell your friends about our Dies R Us Inspiration Blog ... as well as our Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  The design team ladies here and at the challenge blog work very hard to create inspirational cards & projects with you in mind.    Speaking of the Dies R Us Challenge Blog ... you still have time to get your entry in!  The current challenge is BACK TO SCHOOL!

Wishing you all a fabulous week ahead and I'll be back next Tuesday with another inspirational creation!  Please stop back tomorrow when Sherri has a fabulous creation to share with you!!
Till then ...

Hi!! Mikha is here :)

Then I stamped circular sentiment, put it on the top of Magnolia Doohickey - Mini Doily.

And all left is put embellishments! Simple, eh? :)
