Love

Happy Wednesday, friends!

It's hard to believe this month is already half over.  Are you counting down the days until spring?  I certainly am!  Winter is NOT my favorite season!  I'm glad we have Valentine's Day to break up the winter & give us an excuse to make cards & eat chocolate!  Lol

Here is another quick & easy Valentine made with just three dies:  Memory Box Cupid Heart, Impression Obsession Cupids & Poppy Stamps Heart Lattice Background.

This lattice background is amazing & I've found I use it on all kinds of cards, not just Valentines!  If you want a versatile background, think about adding this one to your collection!  It's beautiful in white or pastel shades too & makes a perfect backdrop for floral cards as well!

Don't forget to check out the new challenge beginning tomorrow at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog! Join in on the fun for a chance to win a gift voucher to the store!

I'll be back next week with another bit of inspiration for you!

Just a Note

Hello Dies R Us Friends!
Darlene here today to share another inspiration creation using die cuts!

I don't know about you but I am always in the need for a card that is fitting for more than one occasion.  Such as this 'Just A Note' card creation I have made using only two different die sets ...

The two die sets I referred to are:

Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Designs 'California Collection - Hollywood' ... #CED1107
Cheery Lynn Designs 'Lace Corner Deco E' ... #B165

If by chance you do not find the exact dies I have used on my creation in the store, please check back another time or be sure to check out the similar dies available by these companies.  There are several different collections available through Sue Wilson and Cheery Lynn Designs has several other fabulous corner die sets that would work beautifully.

Also remember, if an item you desire is 'Out Of Stock', be sure to add your name to the list to be alerted as soon as it has been restocked. Really doesn't take much time at all!

I hope you've been inspired by not only my creations here on our Dies R Us Inspiration Blog but also by my fabulous team mates.  A NEW creation awaits you EACH DAY Monday through Friday ... please pop in each day to see what awaits you!  We each have our own unique style so I'm sure you'll find something that gets your attentions and gives you that boost we all need this time of year!

Here's a quick link to our STORE as well as our CHALLENGE BLOG!  New items are added in the store constantly and a new challenge is offered on the 1st & 15th of each month ...
won't you please come join us!

Till next time ... Hugs and Happiness to you!

Princess Feathers

Greetings Dies R Us friends!

This week's inspirational DT card for Dies R Us was built around this gorgeous dream catcher die, however upon completion I realised that this die is currently 'hidden' in the store due to sales and stocktaking. However there are other similar ones currently available or contact the store to find out if they can get it for you.

Dies used include:
Taylored Expression Dream Catcher

Sassy Studio Designs Princess Feathers Portrait

I coloured in Sassy Studio Designs 'Princess Feathers Portrait' with my Copics and framed her with Docrafts Xcut Rectangle Parenthesis #2 before adding some Antique Ivory Frantage and a swipe of Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I layered her on some designer paper which had also been swiped with ink and distressed before stitching down. Here is a close up of the beautiful image.

Sassy Studio Designs Princess Feathers Portrait

I then used the Taylored Expression Dream Catcher to tie in with the image & the lovely designer papers. Here is a close up of this stunning die.

I hope you've had a chance to check out the other amazing creations from the rest of the members of the Dies R Us Design Team, they are certainly a talented group of people! Please come back next week for more wonderful inspiration from all of us again and until next week, happy crafting!

Teacher's Thank You!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my design of the week for Dies R Us!  Have you seen the new die releases? NO!! Well stop by Dies R Us and you can pre-order the latest and greatest dies for 2015!

It's always nice to have a few teacher thank you notes in your drawer; you never know when you might need one. This card started out as an A2 white card base and then I added a fun striped paper.  The banner is cut using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Party Banner Die , matte silver brads were added to the corners and the banner was added to the card with foam tape. I stamped the chalk board and sentiments (Lawn Fawn) with white ink onto black paper and cut out using Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangles. The chalk board was added with foam tape. The cute heart shape, stamped with an apple, is also from the Stitched Party Banner Die set from Lawn Fawn.

Be sure to check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for our twice monthly challenges! Lots of fun and you could win a gift card to the shop!

Until next week, thanks for stopping by, Robin

Hearts, Hearts & More Hearts!

Hi, again everyone!

Wednesday has rolled around again & it's my turn to share another card to give you some inspiration. I have so many Valentine ideas rolling around in my head based on the amazing dies that Dies R Us has in stock & I want to share another card with you today.  This is a pretty simple card.  Nothing very fussy and EXTREMELY easy to do!  You only need 2 dies for this card, Memory Box Floral Heart and Impression Obsession Mini Heart Row.

I began by cutting a piece of 5 1/2 inch cardstock (the same size as my card base) and laying my mini heart row die along the bottom edge.  I then centered the Memory Box Floral Heart die and proceeded to cut both out at the same time.  I glued my ribbon around the card before adhering the white cardstock to my red card.  Once it was in place, I glued the Memory Box Floral Heart cutout into the negative space it left in the original cut.  Presto!  The card is done!  It's so easy & yet so beautiful.

I hope you have already checked out the inspiration from Mikha & Darlene and don't forget to come back tomorrow & Friday to check out what Robin & Alicia have in store for you!  These gals all have amazing talent & you will get some great ideas!

Check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  A new challenge just started on the first & there is still time to enter for a chance to win a gift voucher to the awesome store!

I'll catch you again next week!  Happy crafting, everyone!!

Snowman Time of Year ...

Hello Dies R Us Friends!
Darlene here to share a new creation with you today and even though we don't have any snow on the ground here in Ohio at the moment ... I KNOW IT'S COMING!!  LOL!

I'm still working at using up the left over holiday pieces & parts that were laying on my work table and by simply adding a few of the fabulous die cuts from our Dies R Us Store, I've created this fun 'wintery' card.

The dies I've used today are:

Wild Rose Studio 'Snow Flurry' #WRS032

As you can see in the following close-up, I've actually cut the 'snow flurry' die into two pieces and positioned one part UNDER the mittens and the remainder on TOP of the mittens die cut.  I've also popped up the mittens for a little dimension.

It's fun to 'think outside the box' with your die cuts!  Just because it cuts in a STRIP ... that doesn't mean you have to use it in just a that long strip form.
Try looking at your die cuts in a new way this year and see 'what else' you can do with them.  Then of course we'd love to have you come share your creations with us at one of our Dies R Us Challenges!  A new theme is posted on the 1st & 15th of each month.

ALERT!   Have you seen all the *NEW* release items available for pre-order now in the store?  GO check it out!  Memory Box ... Poppy Stamps ... Impression Obsession ... Elizabeth Craft ... and more to come!  Hurry ... get your order in!!

Be sure to stop back here each day for new inspiration from the team!
Have a fabulous day!

Winter Deers

Happy New Year! Yay!!
New year, new hope. I do wish the best for your future :)) *big smile*

Since it's Monday, I'm gonna show you something quick to make.

I'm using:

Tried to make a polaroid photo look a like, and I'm playing with clear embossing powder and Snow Day stamp from Lawn Fawn. Arranged them randomly. I hope you like how it turned out :)

And for the finishing touch, I added rhinestones *my favourite one :)*

Once again, happy new year!
And don't forget to visit our STORE and also check our challenge blog! LOL

Green & Gold Thanks

Greetings Dies R Us friends and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This week's inspirational DT card for Dies R Us is a big THANK YOU to all of you who have visited this blog, or who have participated in our challenges and who have been to our store

Dies used include:
Tim Holtz Mini Rosette

I used this adorable CC Designs 'Pinwheel Brigetta' stamp and coloured her in with the 'no-lines' technique with my Copics. I then used the Spellbinders Label Thirty Six to frame her along with a splash of Antique Ivory Frantage.

I embellished my card with the Tim Holtz Mini Rosette layered over the Magnolia Doohickey Twisted Swirl. I then double cut the Dies R Us Butterflies in two separate colours to add across the card too.

A brand new challenge started yesterday over at the Challenge Blog. Challenge #17 is a 'Anything Goes with a Twist' challenge. The twist is use something NEW, a new die, paper, punch etc, just make sure that you say what NEW thing you used on your post. To be in the running for the $10 voucher at the Dies R Us store simply use a die in your challenge entry.

Please come back next week for more wonderful inspiration from all of the ladies on the  Dies R Us team. Until next week, happy crafting!

Hello 2015!

Happy New Year everyone! Robin here with my Dies R Us inspiration of the week! I just had to make a New Year's card since my posting day fell on January 1st.

I started with an A2 side fold card base, added this super fun paper from Papertrey Ink and then cut 1/2" off the right front of my card. I added a pretty magenta strip of paper on the inside of the card and cut the word "Hello" from the same paper.  I cut 2015 using Lawn Fawn Louie"s 123s die from white card stock and cut the numbers again from matte silver paper.  I used Tailored Expressions Banner Stacklets 2 to cut out the 2015 banner. Using glue I inlaid the silver numbers, I added the banner to my card using foam pop ups and added the the word "Hello" using liquid glue.

Be sure to stop by Dies R Us they have great sales and a huge inventory of dies for you to choose from; PLUS their shipping is free when you spend $35 or more!

Have a Very Happy 2015 and thanks for stopping by, Robin
