Happy Halloween Treats

Hey, Donna Phelan  back again, this time with some sweet treats!  No tricks!
Let's get right to some spooky good fun!

I made these super cute Treat Tags.  To create the bases I used the Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Tags.  I then decorated each one a bit differently for variety and added some fun ribbons!

Impression Obsession Birds I cut them in Black to mimic Ravens.

I disguised my pumpkins lol

I stamped a few sentiments and decorated with some fun Halloween Designer Papers.  Created a 'pocket' with a strip of Designer Paper to tuck my candy into.  So easy!

Then I just added my sweet treats to put a smile on the recipient's face.
These are for my Mom and her Peeps, they're going to love them!

Here's what I used:

Thanks so much for popping in for a treat!

Enjoy~~

Spring Begins

Good Monday Morning!  Spring begins today!  Yippee!
Donna Phelan back again to share a pretty Spring Garden card with you all.
I can't stress this enough, if you have the best dies that our Dies R Us Store sells, then you can surely create a beautiful card....no doubt!
Here's today's feature:

Many, many dies used on this creation.  Let's start from the beginning.  I created my rolling hills using the Stitched die from Paper Smooches.  I then added the Burlap Border by Cheery Lynn.  I always try to look at dies from every angle.....sure it's a great die for adding texture, but turn it all around and see the different possibilities.....here it is now a pretty white trellis for my Spring flowers.  I then topped my 'trellis' with this fabulous Ivy Corner Flourish also by Cheery Lynn.  I die cut several and then snipped them apart, placing them where I wanted them to grow.

Then I added a white picket fence, isn't that every one's dream?  This Picket Fence is perfect, it's by Amy Design.  Adding a wheelbarrow full of pretty posies just made sense to me.  The Wheelbarrow is by Impression Obsession and was cut in silver and black card stocks, which were just layered together.  After stamping my sentiment, I still felt this needed a bit more, so I added the Lace Corner Deco H die by Cheery Lynn

 And now for some planting!

The pretty posies in the wheelbarrow are from the Large Madison Window set from Poppy Stamps.  I die cut the flowers and vines from different color card stock and filled my wheelbarrow.  All of the flowers, large and small, have seed bead centers.

The larger flowers on my trellis are Cherry Blossom Branch by Cheery Lynn.  I could have used the 'vine and branch' that came with this die but decided to use that pretty Ivy instead.   Adhesive Pearl accent, Flower Punch on inside.

Here's what I used:

Love You Valentine

Good Monday Morning!
Donna Phelan here to share a Valentine card with you.  It's tomorrow, hope you're ready!

I used the Distressed Windham Collage die by Memory Box to create my background.  This is an awesome die set as you get 4 different shapes and designs in the set.  A couple of different Spellbinders dies were also used, Hearts and Classic Ovals.  The corner die is Lace Corner Deco H by Cheery Lynn.  This particular set also has multi dies, 3 of them in different styles.  I always look for die sets that offer more than one choice, thus giving me an array of options when creating cards.

I happened to find this Love You die in my stash, but if you check out the Dies R Us Store you'll be able to see quite a variety of suitable Love You dies.  Here are just a few.

Die Versions
Sweet Wordlets
I Love You

Frantic Stamper
Handwritten, I Love You

Paper Smooches
I Love You

Polka Dot Designer Paper and Vellum card stocks.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  Red Sequins and Crystal Drops in Red Berry for accents.

I am calling this a Faux Shaker card, kind of looks like one, but is not.

Here's what I used:

Distress Windham Collage
Memory Box

Lace Corner Deco H

Perfect Poppies

Good Monday Morning!
Donna Phelan back again to share a pretty Poppy card with you all!
I must say I just bought this beautiful Row Of Poppies die by Memory Box and this pretty Border Edgers die by Penny Black in mid November and this is the first time I am using them and now they are no longer available, I am writing this post on December 6th.
Things move QUICKLY through our Dies R Us Store, so my advice to you is, if you see something you like BUY IT!!!  Do not dilly dally!
There are many dies that you could use to get this very same look, here are a few:
Tutti Designs
Heart Flower Garden

Impression Obsession
Floral Heart Strip

Cheery Lynn Designs
Southern Charm Valance

Memory Box
Albana Border

After die cutting my flowers from water color paper I water colored them using inks in Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi.  I use my regular ink pads and a water brush, this technique works perfectly for me.  I also cut them from a piece of Black card stock and placed them into the negative space, being careful to replace any and all of the Black card stock.  I think this 'inlaid' look is very appealing.

My corner die is Lace Corner Deco H by Cheery Lynn.  A little strip of Designer Paper on the edge and inside for accents and my card is complete.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Spooky Halloween Tree

Good Monday Morning, Donna Phelan here.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Today I have another  Halloween card to share with you!
I used this beautiful Tree Of Life die by Cheery Lynn.  I knew if I cut it out in black glitter card stock I could make it spooky enough for a Halloween card.  I added many googly eyes to make it a bit more spooky too......no matter where you look it's staring back at you.....CREEPY!

The corner spider web is also by Cheery Lynn, it's one of 3 different dies in the Lace Corner Deco H set.  My little glittery pumpkin is by Memory Box, Plump Pumpkin.  I was going to draw a mustache on him to make him appear a bit more sinister, but my drawing skills are not that great.  lol   Sentiment heat embossed in black embossing powder.
I also made a spider....or is it an ant....by gluing  2 different sized adhesive pearls on top of my web.
Here's what I used:

Thanks for popping in!

Happy Halloween Spider

Good Monday Morning, Donna Phelan here.
Today I have a Halloween card to share with you!

I used the Large Madison Window die by Poppystamps.  My sentiment was stamped on to the 'window box' in Black Licorice ink.  I used the Birch Trio by Memory Box for my outdoor view, which I cropped to fit in the window.

The corner spider web is from Cheery Lynn, Lace Corner Deco H, which has 3 different corner dies to choose from, very economical!

The little spider hanging from  the window cross bar is actually part of a pumpkin die.  It's the foliage portion of the Plump Pumpkin by Memory Box.  I had just used it on another card and thought HEY, if I cut that out in black glitter paper I can surely make it look like a spider.  And I think it does.  And the more I look at it the more it looks like I could use it as a bat too!  lol  I guess that is thinking outside the box.....the Memory Box.
A little Copic Marker colored seam binding ribbon, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen and Halloween Designer Papers for accents.
Here's what I used:
Poppystamps
Large Madison Window

Memory Box
Birch Trio
Cheery Lynn
Lace Corner Deco H
Memory Box
Plump Pumpkin
Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~
