Christmas is coming!

Hello Friends,  Diane here to inspire you today.  You know what?  Christmas is coming!  Here it comes in this holiday van.  All the packages are wrapped and ready to be delivered. There's even a wreath on the front hood.  Come make this adorable card welcoming Christmas!

Here how I made it:  The card measures 5x7.  I took a white card panel and cut it 4 3/4 x 6 3/4.  I took my ink dew drops from Memento and colored the background.  I used Summer Sky and London Fog.

Then I used the Tutti Designs, Holiday Van die and cut it out from multiple colors of cardstock.  I used white, red, green yellow, grey and black.

If I only needed a little bit of color for certain parts of the van, then I would just cut my piece of card stock to fit that portion of the die.

 

I kept doing this process until I had all the colors and pieces I wanted.

Then I fussy cut and clipped out different parts and segments of the die cuts and glued them on top of my white base.  You will need tweezers for this process.

I had fun piecing together all the different parts and inlays. It was really quite therapeutic.

I had a little wreath stamp in my stash, so I stamp it out of green ink and stamped the red bow. Then I fussy cut them out and placed them on the hood with pop dots.

 

Next I took a strip of white cardstock larger than I needed.  I stamped the sentiment, "Be Merry" from the Lawn Fawn, "Winter Scripty Sayings" stamp set with VersaMark and then coded it with silver glitter embossing powder. After melting the powder with my heat gun.  I then cut the strip down to size.  It measures 4 3/4 x 1/2.  Then I glued my card top to my 5 x 7 white base card.  Finished!  A super cute fun and whimsical Christmas card.
