In a 'blue' mood ...

 WELCOME BACK Dies R Us Fans!

Darlene here to share another die cutting inspired card creation with you today!

 Today I have a blue & white creation to share simply because I have come to the realization that I RARELY use blue in my designs! 

Why you ask?  

Who knows ... just not a color I gravitate towards I guess!  LOL!

 Have you checked out (or purchased) any of the Sue Wilson Collection by Creative Expression dies?
You can do SO MUCH with these fabulous die sets.  Here, I have used this set for both the blue panel on the front of my card (leaving the center portion in tact so the blue shows through) as well as on the inside where I've used another die from the set to cut out the center so I could stamp my sentiment on the 'white' inside portion.  It's the EXACT SAME panel cut two different ways and positioned in two different directions.

I created the 'swirly background' panel myself by using a flourish stamp by Inkadinkado and SU 'Blue Bayou' ink.  I was looking for a LITTLE color in the background but nothing TOO BUSY!  The butterfly was also sponged in a combination of Tim Holtz 'Faded Jeans' and SU 'Blue Bayou' inks.
