Sunflower Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman back today sending you some Sunflower Birthday Wishes.

At this time of year, a bright cheery card is needed so I created a card from tan cardstock.
Die cut the top orange layer using the diagonal die. Mat this panel with green cardstock for contrast, then assemble the card.

Stamp Lawn Fawn Sunflowers, leaves and pots with black ink, then color with Copic Markers, or another marker of choice.  Colored pencils would also work well.

Use the coordinating dies to die cut all the pieces..

Stamp a birthday sentiment on white cardstock and die cut with an oval die.  Mat with a larger die using green cardstock and add to the card using foam adhesives for dimension.

Arrange the sunflowers in a pleasing manner on the card, layering the sizes for dimension.  At this point, I decided I did not want to use the flower pots so I put them aside for another project.

Add stickles to the center of the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hoppy Easter Card

Greetings, fellow die lovers! It's Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with you today.  This is my last post with the team.  I have so enjoyed my time on the team, but my term is up, and it's time to let someone else have a chance at this awesome opportunity!

Since we're closing in on Easter, I thought I'd showcase an adorable Bunny die today, found in the Dies R Us Store. This is Floral Bunny by Tutti Designs:

I think this floral bunny design is so darn cute!

Here's a photo of all the supplies used on this card:

I started by cutting out the card base.  This is a floral card panel by Spellbinders, but this one by Nellie's Choice would work equally as well. I used a circle die that was just a bit bigger than the Floral Bunny.  This one has been in my stash for many years.  Dies R Us has many circle dies. This set of Never-ending Circle Dies From Kat Scrappiness would work especially well!

Here's a picture of everything once it's all die cut.  I cut a bit off of the circle, just to add a little character.

Once everything was die cut, I assembled it all using ScrapPerfect Best Glue Ever, added gems to both the floral card front and the floral bunny, and finished it all with a yellow ribbon.

I'll leave you with one last view of the Bunny card:

Don't forget to shop both the Dies R Us Store and the Didi Crafts Store for tons of awesome dies and other great products.  Dies R Us now ships to Canada, too! Also, don't forget about the Dies R Us Challenges on the 1st and 15th of each month.  There are great prizes you could win! Check out this blog everyday for great inspiration!

Fishing Buddies

Hi there, Shona here to share a Father's Day card with you today which I made using the Tutti Designs Fishing Buddies die

Here is the die cut I used:

Tutti Designs Fishing Buddies:

Tutti Designs - Dies - Fishing Buddies
I began by making my watery background paper. I brayered Kaleidacolor Creole Spice Ink onto glossy white cardstock.

After I had a god bit of ink on the card, I spritzed with water and brayered again, which gave a watery puddly look to the paper, which I liked. I picked up the really wet edge with a paper towel and allowed the piece to dry.

Meanwhile I cut out my die from heavy black cardstock.

I used a scrap of gray down the middle of the die to catch the highlights.

I put little bits of double sided tape to the back of the die cut and inserted the little grey pieces in their appropriate places. Scraperfect Best Glue Ever was then used to stick the die cut on top of the background piece. I then cut a piece of 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of glossy cardstock and cut out the die again. This gave me a perfect sized frame to fit around the die cut.

The sentiment (from an old Sparkle N' Sprinkle stamp set Fishing with Dad) was stamped using the Stamp positioner and the Same Kaleidacolor ink pad. The two pieces were then taped together to finish off the card. I thought I had a Father's Day die, which I had intended cutting out from the bottom of the card front, putting the excess piece of background behind it. However, I don't appear to have such a die, so I ended up having to stamp it!

Here are the products I used in my card today:

SNS Fishin’ with Dad Set 501
Kaleidacolor Creole Spice Ink
Water Mister
Brayer

Hope you've enjoyed my share today!

Lucky You Card

Hello, crafty friends!  It's Julie with you today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Since it's the holiday, I thought I'd share a lucky card with you today:

I'll link to the supplies found in the Dies R Us Store at the bottom of the post, but here is a photo of all the supplies used on this card:

I die cut all the pieces, using the Lucky You die several times and cutting the clover off of the words.

Here are all the pieces die cut:
After everything was cut out, and the clovers were separated from the words, I just needed to assemble the card.  I did that with CraftPerfect The Best Glue Ever.  It is great for adhering words and small die cuts to your projects!

Here's one more view my Lucky You card, leaving you with a wish for plenty of luck on St. Patrick's Day and all year long!

A Little Birdie Told Me Thank You...

Hello, friends!  It's Julie with you today from Muddy Paws and Inky Fingers.  I never seem to have enough thank you cards on hand, so I made another one for today, using a die set from Spellbinders.

Here's all the supplies I used:

Here's a picture of everything die cut, and the bird inked with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, and the sentiment inked with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink:

There are many birds in the Dies R Us Store that would workout this one by Memory Box would work particularly well.  This "Thank You" sentiment from Dee's Distinctive Designs is very similar to the one I used, but of course, a whole different sentiment would work just as well.  The stitched rectangle die is from Lawn Fawn.  The bird and letters were glued in place with The Best Glue Ever.

I want to invite you to join the Dies R Us Challenges.  They run every 2 weeks and have easy themes to follow. I also want you to check out  our new sister store, Didi's Crafts, specializing in European crafts, and shipping to Canada!

Here's one last view of my card:

Layering Snow Globe Ornament with Hero Arts

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with an ornament I made using Hero Arts Layering Snow Globe die set.
First I cut all the main segments out using Recollections 110 lb card stock, and one backer using Pink & Main's Galaxy paper. I used Silver Glitter paper for the snowflake spray and Gold Shimmer paper for the sentiment plate.
I actually cut each layer twice, and alternated the layers. Using Artist Loft brush markers I colored the top hat, arms, and facial features of the snowman, the house and the tree's. I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere the layers together. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Black Ink. The sentiment is from Poppy Stamps "Christmas Greetings Stamp Set".
