Adriana Pop Up Easel Card

Hi everyoneSteph Ackerman here today wishing you a Happy Autumn.

Autumn is my time of year.  I love it.

This Poppy die was perfect to create a wonderful Fall themed card.

This die comes with everything you need to create a Pop Up Easel Card.  It even folds flat to fit in a standard envelope.

Creating a card from green cardstock with the base die and the second layer, I then die cut the top layer from a script paper.   I inked this layer with Distress Inks in green, brown and red to simulate the colors of fall.

Using oval dies, I die cut 2 layers, stamping the phrase on the top layer.
The card was assembled with foam adhesives between the layers for dimension.

Happy Fall Card

Hi everyoneSteph Ackerman here today wishing you a Happy Fall.

As we head from summer into fall, I can almost hear the crunching leaves, can you?

I die cut the Maple Vine Frame from  Rinea Mocha Foiled Paper.  The foiled paper die cut beautifully and was the perfect frame for my fall card.

Using The Best Glue Ever, I adhered the frame to a panel of Rinea Emerald Foiled Paper.

Because leaves come in a multitude of colors, I die cut the frame again with a variety of foils, fussy cut some of the leaves and adhering them back to the main frame, giving the card some dimension.

Stamping an image, I colored her with Copic Markers, fussy cut her, matted her with cardstock for emphasis, then fussy cut her again.   Finally, I slipped her behind some leaves along the bottom of the card.

Floral Slimline Card

Hi everyoneSteph Ackerman here today with a new floral slimline card.

Tutti Designs has some amazing slimline dies that can be used in numerous ways.  I chose to combine 2 different die sets to create this card.

I chose to use Rinea Foiled Papers to create the backgrounds, using the same foil colors for the different sized layers.  Starting with the Fence die, I created the base of the card from Sapphire and adhered it to a panel of Gold.  I found The Best Glue Ever is perfect for adhering the layers.  Then I used the Stitched Rectangle dies to create the next 2 layers from the same foil colors.

To finish I added flowers and a phrase.

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi everyoneSteph Ackerman here today sending you some birthday wishes.

This lovely Memory Box die has lots of possibilities.  Since it die cut into the panel, you can create any sized card.

After die cutting the floral panel, I die cut the back panel from green cardstock using Lawn Fawn Rectangle dies to use as the base.  I also die cut 2 yellow flowers.  One was added to the card over the white flower and one was added on top to provide some dimension.

Using VersaFine Clair Green Oasis, Fairy Hugs Flower Vines were stamped along the top of the card using first and second generation stamping.  Next I sponged Mowed Lawn Distress Ink around the panel.  Finally I added a Fairy Hugs birthday sentiment along the bottom of the card.

Welcome to my Fairy Garden

Hi everyoneSteph Ackerman here today welcoming you to my Fairy Garden.

With slimline cards all the rage, it's sometimes hard to decide how to best use them, especially this Bamboo Frame.  I thought it would look great to enhance a stamped background.  You just need to determine it's placement before stamping the images.

I first created a background on my cardstock.  After determining the position of the die, I stamped the Fairy Hugs Mini Fairy Nests in the upper right.

I wanted to use Fairy Hugs Pixie, so I had her throwing some stardust at the Fairy Nests.

Fairy Hugs Bluebells were added to the right corner and then the Fairy Hugs Dance phrase was added to the left side along with several small Fairy Hugs Bees.

Of course, I had to finish off with some glitter!!!

Friendship Card

Hi everyoneSteph Ackerman here today treasuring your friendship with this sweet card.

I love looking a die and seeing all the possibilities, don't you?  I know this die looks intricate, but if you look at the individual elements, you can see easily how best to proceed with the die.

I die cut this design from 4 different colors of cardstock.  Starting with the orange layer as the base, I built the design from the bottom up, ending with the black layer that was just the oval and the cat.

The die cut was added to a blue oval creating the background.  Since I wanted some additional dimension on the flowers, I die cut another orange layer and cut the flowers.

Creating the card, I placed the die cut panel, then added a sweet phrase along the bottom.
