Tropical Floral Card

Tracy here today with a pretty tropical card. It's that time of year here in Florida when all the tropical flowers and plants are in full bloom.

These are the two dies I used for die cutting. I'll have links towards the end of the post.

These are all the pieces I cut from the above dies except for the leaves. You can't find that die in the store but there are so many other just as pretty leafy dies to choose from in the store.

This is the die I used to emboss the pale green panel. I ran it through my embossing machine using a rubber mat so that the die wouldn't cut through the paper.

I started with a white card base and added a yellow panel, then the embossed pale green panel and the yellow circle die cut piece went on top. I assembled the flower, rolled the petals to give it some more dimension and popped it up also. I positioned the leaves around the flower and added some orange Stickles to the flower center.

Fun Masculine Birthday Card

Tracy here today with a masculine birthday card. I don't know about you but I find it hard to come up with masculine cards. So here's a quick and easy one using a fun die that I just love from Memory Box. I'll post the link below.

I started with a navy blue base and a piece of white cardstock. I then rounded all the edges and got out my Distress Oxides and went to work on the white piece applying the inks from darkest to lightest. Then just sprinkled some water on the ink. The circle die was cut from a piece of ombre paper and the sentiment was cut from a piece of black glitter paper. I put it all together using some ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever with the small no-clog writing tip.

Here are the links for the products I used
