Good Tuesday morning!! Lisa here with a caffeine fueled all-occasion card. It's funny because I LOVE coffee candy and ice cream and cakes but I don't actually drink it. I make a lot of coffee-themed projects, but I think the cool thing about this Tutti Designs die in particular is it can be a coffee cup or a tea cup. I'll admit to drinking copious amounts of tea daily, both iced and hot. Caffeine makes every day better, right?
I started my card by cutting the Tutti Designs Have a Good Day out of adhesive foil. I like the adhesive foils and vinyls cause it saves me a step with fancy die cuts.
I knew I wanted the cup die cut on a circle, so I took a scrap of purple cardstock and laid my circle die on it before adhering the coffee cup. That way, I don't have to worry about centering my die cut image onto the circle, I can tape my die in place around the cup once it's adhered. It's sort of like cheating, but it keeps me from ripping my paper when I put the cup down crooked and have to pull it up and start over.
When I first cut the bottles out, I decided I wanted to fill in all the die cut holes, so I glued them to foil cardstock with Bearly Art glue and fussy cut around them.
I still had one little area where my vinyl wouldn't lay straight, so I positioned one of my stones over it to hide my mistake 😎
I thought the card was missing something so I cut a couple of the Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Banners out of foil scraps. Little banner accents always tie everything together.
I know I'm not the only one who needs caffeine to fuel her mornings! Hopefully this inspires you to make some caffeine themed creations too. --Lisa

Diane here to hopefully inspire you with my card today. I have a fun and quick card make for you. As you can tell from the title, this is a coffee themed card for all those coffee lovers out there. I am using a hexagon die as my focal for the design of my card. I hope you enjoy what I created.
I used the Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Hexagons available at Die R Us for the main focal of my card design. The item number for this die set is TUTTI-616. This die also comes in a cross-stitched pattern. This card measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 (standard A2 size) I used the next to the smallest hexagon and cut them out using three different patterns from the "Daily Grind" 6x6 paper collection by Catherine Pooler. This is a beautiful coffee themed paper pad bursting with lots of color. I cut a piece of the brown coffee bean paper measuring 4 1/4 x 2 and adhered it to my card.
Next I took a couple of gold peal off stickers from "Love From Lizi" and added them to the top and bottom of the brown coffee bean paper.
Next I glued my hexagon pieces to the front of the card. Then I placed the card into my stamp positioner and stamped my sentiments in black ink. These sentiments are from the new Catherine Pooler coffee stamp set. I love the fun sentiments in this stamp set.
This is a super cute easy card to make and I hope that you would give the hexagon dies a try.
Here's another look at the supplies I used for this card.

Hi Guys! I'mDebbie fromDebbie J’s Crafting Corner, here today sharing how I created this "Got Coffee?" Card using the Double Slider Surprise Die set from Lawn Fawn.
I love showing the process when I’m creating. I hope my tutorial and video help you see that, if I can make it, You Can Too!
Check out the video showing how I created this adorable card!
I’m using a Coffee theme, so I went through my stamp stash and pulled out a few stamp sets to work with. I’m using the “Got Coffee?” stamp set from The Greeting Farm. (it’s no longer available, but there are plenty of other focal image stamps that you can use.)
I’m also using a few images from Fiskars “Latte Love” and Stampabilities “Coffee”.
Both sets have coffee bean and coffee cup images, and I thought they would be perfect to help me create some fun background papers.
Before starting on this card, I created a “sample” of the mechanism.
Then I die-cut all of the pieces needed to make my mechanism. For this, I used some brown cardstocks from Recollections that have been in my stash forever.
YAY! I get to use some of that up!
Next, I stamped and colored my coffee loving character using Memento Tuxedo
Black Ink and Spectrum Noir Markers.
Now let’s start decorating the mechanism pieces.
I used the coffee bean images and a coffee cup image to create an easy and fun
background on the wrapper and the fronts of the pullout panels using
Next, let’s assemble the mechanism for our double slider.
And we’ll be using some recycled material for this.
I cut a 2 ¼ inch wide strip from a Dollar Tree Bag and I added a piece of
Scor-tapeto one end of that. I’m using 1/8th inch Scor-tape because you need it this
thin for the rest of the mechanism. You’ll see what I mean in a moment.
I removed the release paper, and gently wrapped the other end of the plastic around the track piece. You don’t want it too tight or too loose. It needs to be able to slide easily around the track.
Then I cut off the excess.
And this completes the main mechanism for our slider.
Then remove the release paper from the back, top and bottom, and line it up with the crease of our pocket.
Then you can press both the top and bottom in place… and TEST to make sure that the slider still works!
Now remove the rest of the release paper; from the top, the bottom, and from the other flap on the sleeve pocket.
Fold the flap in and then close the pocket.
And TEST again!
Fold the flap in and then close the pocket.
And TEST again!
There are several dies in the set for a pull tab. I want to make sure that the recipient knows what to pull, and to make it a little easier.
So I used one of these and cut it out of dark brown paper so that it will contrast with the light brown that I’m using for the panel. And I cut the little triangle that acts as an arrow out of the light brown cardstock as well.
For the “surprise” slider panel, there are so many options!
One is a sweet sentiment.
Another is a gift card! How fun is that!
Now that all the complicated stuff is done, we can decorate the slider panel.
I created another stamped pattern paper panel and layered a dark brown panel on top, creating a double mat for the slider.
Then I added some foam tape to the back of the slider, and adhered it to the front of the card.
Here are some photos of the finished card.
Thank you so much for dropping by. I hope you enjoyed this project and would love to hear what you think of this double slider surprise card.
