Quick Christmas Thank You Cards

Good morning friends~  Birgit here with you today.   Saying thank you has never been so easy using Trimcrafts First Edition Dies ~ Build A Scene
Trimcraft - First Edition Dies - Build A Scene - Night
This set has everything you need to create quick and easy cards.  I made several thank you cards in a very short period of time.

Time saving fact #1:  These Trimcraft Dies come on their own magnetic sheet, ready to use.  No snipping apart required!  Just open the package and they're ready to use!
Time saving fact #2:  I was able to cut all the pieces for each card out at once in one pass through my machine.
I added black Wink of Stella glitter pen to the reindeer and sleigh die.  I really did!  I just forgot and took the picture first before adding it.  ;0D  You can see it the sparkle in the next picture.

Time saving fact #3:  I assembled the layers onto a square scalloped note card exactly the way the picture on the package suggested so I didn't even have to think it through.  I then stamped a thank you sentiment in the space left at the bottom.
Time saving fact #4:   There is a star die included in the set that cuts several cute tiny stars all at once, that I've added to the night sky.  I can see these stars being used as accents on all sorts of cards and they'd be perfect in shaker cards.

I can't even express how easy these were to cut, layer and finish.

You can find this Build A Scene Night Die Set set and many more from Trimcraft at Dies R Us.

Cup Of Love & Kindness

Good Monday Morning!
Donna Phelan back again....happy day after Christmas!
Hope you all were able to celebrate with loved ones!
Now we can put away the festive reds and greens....YAY!

This card uses Spellbinders Captivating Squares as a base for my focal image, which was stamped and fussy cut out.  My teacup is topped with a pretty heart die snipped from the Homespun Heart, by Memory Box.  The ampersand is by Sizzix, Holiday Words Script
I had this Kindness die hanging around but I love the idea of using the Curly Words Sympathy die by Die-Versions for a 'Tea And Sympathy' card.  There are quite a few of Curly Word Dies available.

I topped my Teacup with the beautiful Small Gardenia by Cheery Lynn.  I also added different leaves using the Foliage 1 die by Paper Smooches.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  I colored some Seam Binding Ribbon with my Copic Markers and then heat set it.  Button and Jute Twine and Adhesive Pearls for accents.

Believe

Hello Dies R Us Friends and Merry Christmas!
Darlene with you today sharing a wintry card that reminds us all to BELIEVE

In today's scene I'm thinking the two deer in the center are is awe of the majestic buck prancing around in front of them (the one with the red nose ... hmmm wonder what his name is) and do they dare to BELIEVE they could be as majestic one day.  Or maybe even fly through the skies pulling a Christmas sleigh like Santa's reindeer.

 The dies I've used today are . . .

Impression Obsession - Dies - Merry Christmas Flourish

I must confess I had some pieces and parts laying on my work table that I used to create today's card. Here's a few points of interest on creating today's card:
As you can see, once I die cut the Winter Woodland Panel, there were several OPEN areas.  I wanted to use a royal blue foil paper for the sky and just white card stock for the snowy ground.  To accomplish this, I laid my Winter Woodland Panel on a sheet of the foil paper and used the tip of my tweezers to lightly score the horizon line then cut it out with my swivel craft knife.  Then, glued the panel to the foil panel creating my sky.
Since I was going to mat the entire panel, I need to fill in my 'open ground' areas with white card stock to mimic snow.  So, I simply glued on a scrap panel of white card stock and cut off the excess around the edges.

VIOLA!!

A Winter Birthday

Happy Christmas Eve Dies R Us Friends!
WOW can you believe it's Christmas Eve already!?!
Where has the year gone?

Darlene with you today sharing a card using dies from the Dies R Us Store to create a winter Birthday card.  I always feel badly for people who have birthday's around Christmas.  I often wonder if they really get that special attention they deserve.  Well I know someone celebrating a Christmas Birthday so I created this fun card in hopes of sending her an EXTRA smile!

How cute is this little guy!
Elizabeth Craft  #1041 - Rudy the Reindeer
Unfortunately he's not available in the store at the moment but there are several other Elizabeth Craft 'critters' that are similar and would work beautifully on a design such as this.  For instance, how about 'Buster the Dog'

*NEW - Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Brownie The Cow

Other dies I've used are . . .

Yvonne Creations - Holly Jolly - Nesting Frame

Amy Design - Dies - Wintertide - Ice Crystal Swirl

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Happy Birthday

Penny Black 'In the Winter' #51-173

What a fun time I had creating this card and I hope it has brought a smile to your face today!  Now I'd better make sure Santa is all set for his busy night!
