Christmas in July Gift Box

 Hello Friends,

Diane here to share with you my Christmas in July Dies R Us inspiration.  This adorable little box is so fun and easy to create.  I used the super fun Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box and the Scalloped Treat Box Winter House Add-on.  Come take a closer look...

This is a perfect little box for some Christmas candy treats for family, friends or co-workers.  Below is  a simple tutorial on how I created this cutie.

First I cut two of the scalloped treat box using some wood papers.

It helps to enhance the score lines with a score board and score tool.  Next, I folded the little box on the score lines and glued the flaps accordingly. Be sure to press them with a bone folder for a crisp edge.

Glue the bottoms together.

Glue the sides together.

Press inside to make sure everything adheres nicely.

Then cut out all the decorative elements.  I used different solid colored cardstock to cut the elements. I cut the roof out of snow white, the door and windows out of white. I used gold for the inside of the window and door. I used a bright green for the wreaths and trees and bright Christmas red for the bows.

All that's left is to put it all together and decorate your gift box.

I wanted some snow to place at the bottom of each side of the box. So I took my Lawn Fawn mini frames dies and cut out only one side of the rectangle frame die.

I trimmed off the excess, and adhered it to the bottom of each side of the gift box.

I continued to decorated my box until I was pleased with the outcome.

This was such a Fun little project.  I hope that you will give it a try. Be sure to visit Dies R Us for this and many more fantastic dies and stamps for all your crafty crestions.

Haunted House Treat Box

Hi crafty friends!
Stacey back with you today to share a project that I created using some fabulous dies and stamps that can be found in the Dies R Us Store

Today is my last post as a design team member for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. It has been fun and a big Thank You for allowing me to be a part of the team!

I decided to make a adorable little Halloween treat tote for my last project.
It cut out all the pieces that I thought I might use from the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box die and the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add On Die.

After all the pieces were cut out, it was simply a matter of putting the box together and adding all the fun little pieces to decorate the box and turn it into a haunted house.

Here is my finished result:

This is the front of the box. I cut the ghost out of vellum to give it a more "ghostly" feel. You can see the little ghost much better in person. I tucked it in a little bit behind the door, almost like he is welcoming you inside. I added a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Costume Party Stamp Set and popped that up with foam tape onto the roof. I added a fun little bow to the top.

This a a look at the back and one of the sides. For the web and spider, I used the Lawn Fawn Cute Cobweb Die set. I added a bit of sparkle to the spider, bats and windows.

Here is a look at the other side. I think this turned out so incredibly cute!! It is waiting to be filled with some yummy treats!!

Thanks A Bushel

Hi crafty friends!
Stacey back with you today to share a project that I created using some fabulous dies and stamps that can be found in the Dies R Us Store

I thought it would be fun to create a little Fall themed thank you gift box. I know it is still Summer, but I'm ready for Fall lol!

I started out by stamping and cutting out all my pieces.

I used the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box die and cut out two pieces from some wood grain looking paper  to make my box. I also used the Lawn Fawn Thanks A Bushel stamp set to stamp my images and then used the Lawn Fawn Thanks A Bushel Dies to cut them out. I assembled my box and colored my images and this is what the final product looks like:

I added my greeting using the Thanks A Bushel stamp set and tied it to my box with some baker's twine. I think it turned out so cute!
