Hello, again!
Can you believe tomorrow is October already? Each month seems to go by more quickly than the last! And if you are like me, there is never enough time to get everything done that you want to. So today, I'm sharing a really quick and easy way to make a beautiful card with just one die! I used Frantic Stamper Floral Card Panel for these cards. I chose to make one into a birthday card & the other into a thank you. But this beautiful die would be equally suitable for a sympathy card, get well, thinking of you......the possibilities are endless. Right now this die is out of stock, but should be back soon. You could easily substitute one of the other beautiful panels such as Impression Obsession Floral Panel Cutout, Tattered Lace Butterfly Panel, or Tattered Lace Rose Panel.
I hope these cards will show you that just one beautiful die can create a card you will be proud to give!
Don't forget to check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for a chance to win a gift voucher to our fantastic store! You won't find a bigger selection of dies anywhere and we also offer stamps and embossing folders as well!
Enjoy the rest of your week and create something beautiful!

OMG ... SO many possibilities when you have die cuts to use in creating cards!
For the coloring of my leaves, I created a colorful panel using Ken Oliver 'Color Burst'
then once dry I did my die cutting and assembly.
Pretty easy peasy ... you gotta love that!!!

I also die cut a Sue Wilson 'Maidenhair Fern' #CED1433 from my colorful panel for the inside of my card. Did you notice that my oval panels are 'reversed'? Another fun aspect of these amazing dies.
Well, I still have a lot to get done today so I'd better get moving!

Fuchsia Garden
Hello, and happy Monday DRU friends! I’m happy to be able to share this card today because I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to finish it.
After I stamped and die cut this gorgeous Heartfelt Creations fuchsia image, I sat back and saw how off center it was. Now, there’s nothing wrong with off center or lots of white space, but this was so out of balance it would definitely need some fixing. There was a big ol’ empty space that didn’t look like it belonged there at all. I tried sentiments and ribbon and all kinds of things, but nothing was working for me. It was either wait for an epiphany, or trash it. No big loss since I hadn’t started coloring yet, but I was compelled to wait for an epiphany. Time to walk away. You know how it is, right? Well, then it came to me:
Flowers and foliage and butterflies to create a mini-garden beneath these fabulous hanging blooms. I wonder how many times a card design comes about simply as a way to fix something? Plenty, I’ll bet.
I used the same designer paper collection throughout (BasicGrey Euphoria) so it tied everything together as though I’d planned it that way to begin with. I’ll tell you, though, I cut plenty of flowers and butterflies in different Euphoria colors before I settled on this combo. Sheesh! Dies used are:
- Spellbinders Elegant Ovals
- Sue Wilson Delicate Fronds
- Elizabeth Craft Bunch of Flowers 4
- Impression Obsession Medium Butterflies
I touched here and there with Stickles Stardust glitter glue – the tips of the flowers and leaves, the flower centers, and the butterfly wings. I also dotted glitter around the fuchsia image. In real life it’s absolutely magical.
I’m so glad you dropped in and I hope you enjoyed your visit. I’ll see you again soon!

Believe
Welcome Back Dies R Us Fans!
Darlene back with you today and I have yet another very quick & easy card to share with you today!
Now it doesn't get much easier than this card.
I've simply taken a white card stock panel 1/2" smaller all the way around than my card base, place a punched circle of masking medium in the upper left corner for the moon, then sponged all over with various blue shades of ink.
Removed the circle to reveal the moon then added these two beautiful die cuts.
and
Memory Box 'Fancy Believe' #1280.
At the time of this posting the Memory Box 'believe' die is Out of Stock but there are others available that will work just as well. Simply go to the store ... type BELIEVE into the search box to see those available.
Keeping this short and sweet today but before I go please remember to come join in the fun at our Dies R Us Challenge Blog. You could be the lucky winner of a DRU Store Gift Voucher!
Have a great weekend ... till next time ...

Spooky Fun
Hi there and Happy Thursday to you!
I am trying real hard to get my Halloween cards made on time for once!
Dies R Us has oodles and oodles
of Halloween/Fall dies to choose from.
of Halloween/Fall dies to choose from.
I started my card with black card stock
and a snippet of paper from the scrap bin!
I tied a piece of Halloween twine around it
and added a little tag.
I used one die for this card,
Die-Versions Sweet Petites "Fall Festival".
I cut this die first on craft foam, then from black card stock.
After adhering those 2 pieces together,
I cut each little image separately, then paper pieced them.
It really didn't take long at all to do it,
and it is a great way to use up those "snippets" of papers.
I think this die looks good just "standing on it's own"
without anything else to fancy it up!
There are several of these edge/border dies to choose from.
If you type in "Sweet Petites" you can see them all!
Visit us here Monday - Friday to see lots of awesome inspiration from the DT.
We have a challenge going on at the Dies R Us Challenge blog....
more inspiration to be found there,
and a prize to be won for joining in!
Thank you for visiting with me today.
"I" will be seeing you next Thursday...hope to see you here!

Boo to You!
Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Can you feel that touch of fall in the air yet where you live? That means it won't be long until Halloween and we will need to start thinking about all those cute Halloween cards we need to make! If you LOVE Halloween like I do, you may already have tons of Halloween stamps and dies. If you are relatively new to using dies, your selection may be more limited, but don't think that means you can't create an awesome Halloween card! Using only one die, I came up with this cutie! The die I chose was Impression Obsession Halloween Hill and the cute "mummy" is a QKR Stampede digi.
The possibilities with this die are unlimited! It just makes such a perfect spooky background for whatever you want to add.
Be sure you check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog! There is still time to join in on the latest challenge and possibly win a gift voucher to the fantastic Dies R Us Store!
Enjoy the rest of your week and I'll see you here again next Wednesday!

This card was created in a matter of minutes.
I have used the Darice 'Quilt Blocks' embossing folder for the background and one of the many fabulous word dies available at the Dies R Us Store. You can find a huge variety of word dies from various companies available ... simply type the word you are looking for in the SEARCH box and it will show you what is available for purchase at that time.
Unfortunately, this fabulous DieVersions 'Express Edges - Get Well' #DVE-028 die cut is no longer available but I'm sure you will find others that would fit your needs just as well.

What Else Can You Do With a Stitched Scalloped Circle?
Hello! It’s the start of a brand new week and I’m kicking it off with two brand new cards. I’m not always exactly certain what I’m going to do when I sit down to play in my stamp room, but it is always a good time, especially when I’ve got a new Dies R Us package waiting for me to dive into it.
So… what else can you do with a Stitched Scalloped Circle? How about a fan border?
I cut the largest scalloped circle, then cut that in half. Clipped between all the scallops, leaving enough of a border along the straight edge so it wouldn’t fall apart. Placed them on the card as shown and covered the edge with a cardstock strip. The cardstock strip was trimmed with scalloped edge scissors. This card measures 6 3/4” x 3 3/4”.
The stamp set I used for the greeting on each card is Power Poppy’s Big Scripts.
Or… how about a daisy? Making a daisy with a scalloped circle is not a new concept, but it’s just too cute not to share:
In addition to the Stitched Scalloped Circles, this card also uses Sue Wilson Designs Pierced Flags. The daisy’s center is a 5/8” punched circle.
The second card features two of the colors from our Use HOT Colors Challenge.
Use one or more of the colors shown, plus at least one die, then link it up for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Dies R Us store.
In no time at all I have two cards, each very mail friendly, and I had lots of fun making them! Wishing you a stamp-happy day!

A Winter Scene . . .
Welcome Back!
Today I have a quick & easy winter scene created for your inspiration!
I'm always amazed at how quickly I put together a card with the use of these fabulous die cuts purchased at the Dies R Us Store.
The possibilities are ENDLESS when using die cuts!!
Using a white card stock panel, sponge your favorite shade of blue ink (I've used Tim Holtz 'broken china & faded jeans' distressed ink). ** I have circle punched a piece of masking medium (post it note will work too) and put it on my white card stock before sponging to create a moon.
Step 2:
Tear a couple scraps of white card stock and adhere one in front of the other, leaving the upper portion unattached so you can insert your trees.
Step 3:
Die cut 2 sets of the Memory Box 'Evergreen Trio' #99240 die set in your choice of green card stock shade ... I've used SU Old Olive. Position one set in between your snowy panels and the second set in the background.
Step 4:
Die cut your favorite woodland critter and position in the foreground. I have used the Marianne LR0377 Mama Moose and Baby (sorry Marianne dies are not routinely carried at our store.) But there are several beautiful DEER dies available that would work perfectly in this scene! Just type DEER in the 'search' tab of our store to see what's available.
Step 5:
Lastly add some 'snow'. I've used Liquid Pearls for my snow effect.
I hope you've found inspiration in today's card creation and remember you can stop by this inspiration blog any week day (Mon-Fri) for a new inspiration sample from one of the design team members!
There's a new challenge up at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog!
The theme is a 'Photo Inspiration' using HOT COLORS ... be sure to come check it out and then join in the fun! YOU could be the next winner of a $10 gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Leslie will be back with an awesome sample for you on Monday
and I (Darlene) will see you once again on Tuesday!
Till then . . .

Fall Is In The Air
Hi there!
I feel so lucky to live in a place that has the four seasons.
(Remind me I said that in the middle of zero temps and snow waist deep..lol).
But really, the changing into fall is so gorgeous....
all the beautiful mixed colors of trees/leaves, fall flowers, pumpkins.
It's a wonderful time of the year!
That brings me to the card I created today.
A fun fall card.
The birds are enjoying their last bath of the year....
making a splash with a few "dew drops" I added!
The squirrels are gathering their nuts.
A red squirrel sits by and takes it all in!
The leaves are slowly coming off the trees.
A peaceful and tranquil scene that goes as fast as it arrives!
The dies used for this scene are:
Cheery Lynn Designs Birch Tree with Cute Critters
Cheery Lynn Designs Bird Bath Set of 2
Impression Obsession Small Leaf Set
Thank you for visiting with me today!
