Hi Everyone, Kristina here today with more Valentines! I love this Hugs die from Concord and 9th because its perfect for friend/family Valentines Day cards, and all occasions cards year round.
I knew I wanted to make a set of cards so I kept the design fairly simple.
Here what I did:
- First I cut several white panels to 4x5.25 and ran them through my die cut machine with a simple heart die to create a window
- I repeated this process with pieces of fun foam cut slightly smaller than my panel, and adhered the two together, for dimension
- Using a strong adhesive, I adhered glitter paper to the fun foam, to show through my heart window
- Onto the front of the card, I die cut the Hugs die in a color of card stock that coordinated with my glitter paper, and used Vellum to cut the shadow. I adhere this across the window, hiding my glue behind the card stock
- Lastly, I glued the whole completed panel down to the same coordinating card stock used for the Hugs die.
