Tim The Tool Man

Good Morning, Donna Phelan back again.

Today I am sharing a masculine birthday card I have made for my brother in law, Tim.  He's a handy kind of guy, just like his brother!  ;)

I started by adding some great texture to my card base panel, using a Darice Chevrons Embossing Folder.  Have you checked out the variety of Embossing Folders we now carry in the Dies R Us Store?  Go ahead, I'll wait!

I then cut a piece of white card stock using the Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Nesting-Rectangles, this made for a great focal panel to place my Tutti Designs Dies Tools.  I only used 5 of them, but this set comes with 6...that's SIX Tools, 2 different sized Nails and a Bolt die....that is an amazing set for such a low, low price!!!

I cut my Tools 3 times each.  Once from chipboard, colored  and glitter card stock and foiled paper.  Then I just assembled them all together.  Added a few 'screw' brads and stamped my Happy Birthday sentiment in Pacific Blue ink.

I also backed my focal panel with Fun Foam to give it some dimension and a nice sturdy feel.

Here's What I used:

Enjoy~~
