Wishing You Happiness . . .

Hello Dies R Us Friends!
Darlene with you today sharing a fun card that is a little outside my wheelhouse but it's been on my mind and finally got around to putting it together and had a great time doing it.

It all started with this Memory Box Graceful Branch Oval die, two clear panels (cut from die cut packaging) and an A2 card base which I've sponged with Tim Holtz Broken China distress ink to create the water color.

I actually attached one clear panel to the front and the other to the back of my die cut panel.  Don't ask me why ... just felt like the right thing to do ... lol.  You could probably get away with just the outside panel.

Next I sponged some green distress ink onto a scrap of white card stock and dies cut a few Frantic Stamper 'Shoreline Reeds' to give additional dimension to my scene.

Lastly I added dimension tape around my branch panel, sprinkled in a few sequins and adhered my branch panel to the front of my card.

I felt it needed a little 'something' so created a sentiment tag using the Poppystamps 'Stitched Main Street Tag' set.  The sentiment is from a very old Stampin' Up stamp set and I've added a touch of baker's twine and matching sequins just to pull it all together and add movement.

A 'squiggle' of Waterfall Stickles around the outside edge not only hides my attachment adhesive but I think finishes the water scene I was going for.  What do you think?

Here's a list of all the dies used today:
