Forever Friends

Greetings Friends of Dies R Us.

For this weeks inspiration I'm going with the a colourful Spring palette (even though its Autumn here in Australia - not that you would think that with weather 35C+ for the first day of April!)

Anyhoo, I've used the following dies on my 'Forever Friends' easel cards.

I've coloured this cute little digi stamp 'Daisy and Dexter with bunting' from A Random Fan with Copics. Once the main image has been cut with the Spellbinders Label One, I've embossed it and used some shimmer chalk on the background to give it a bit more colour, as subtle as it is.

The Memory Box rosette is super easy to make and adds a great alternative embellishment to cards other than flowers. All instructions are included and easy to follow. I've actually used a decorative punch as the center of my rosette instead of the standard center die which comes with the rosette die, to give it a bit more definition (any circular die/punch will work too - scallops, jaggered edges, distressing etc.)

The inside 'Forever Friends' stamp by Kaiser Craft has been die cut using the smallest Spellbinders Standard Circle die, then edged with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

I've finished this card off with a cute little bunting made from various washi tape on some twine and a few sequins to give it a bit of bling!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Be sure to head to the Dies R Us store for your one stop Die shop!

Happy Crafting.

  1. This is just a great easel card! I love the way you carried the banner in the stamp over as an embellishment on the card! That rosette was a great idea to add some extra pop to the banner!
